Study Center & Archival LibraryThe Foundation maintains a large library and archive of both historical and modern material related to addiction and recovery movements and methodologies. The archival library contains many original historical documents not available anywhere else. ![]() Book Store and Gift ShopThe Foundation for Recovery’s Book Store and Gift Shop, located in the same space as our museum and archives, sells a large assortment of recovery-oriented books, gifts, greeting cards, posters, jewelry, t-shirts, and other items. The Foundation for Recovery is happy to exhibit a large and diverse collection of historical materials and memorabilia related to addiction and recovery. At the Foundation museum, you can view unique displays ranging from early "cure-all" medicinal bottles and advertisements, to portable electroshock therapy devices once used to "cure" addiction to historical twelve-step materials and drafts. The Foundation for Recovery maintains one of the largest displays of original materials from various recovery movements with a particularly large collection from Narcotics Anonymous.
